The free tier is effectively a permanent trial - you can use essential features like E6B calculator and weather decoder indefinitely at no cost. Professional plan offers a 7-day free trial so you can test all premium features before subscribing.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play). You'll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, you can still use the free tier features.
Can flight schools get discounts?
Yes! Squadron plan offers volume pricing at $99.99/user/year for flight schools and aviation organizations. Includes multi-user management, fleet management, and admin dashboard. Contact sales for quotes on 20+ users.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes, you can upgrade from Free to Student or Professional, or from Student to Professional at any time. Upgrades are prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is Pilot Kit FAA approved?
Pilot Kit is NOT FAA certified or approved. It is an EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) application for flight planning and reference purposes only. While the FAA recognizes electronic logbooks per AC 120-78A, Pilot Kit has not undergone FAA certification. Always consult current regulations and use certified equipment for flight operations. Pilots are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable aviation regulations.
Does Pilot Kit include charts?
Pilot Kit includes moving maps and terrain maps with support for custom waypoints and flight route planning. Note: Pilot Kit does NOT include professional VFR/IFR aviation charts. Always use official certified charts for flight operations.

Logbook & Data
Can I import my existing logbook?
You can manually enter your historical flight data into Pilot Kit. We support entry of all standard logbook fields including date, aircraft, route, flight times, and conditions. Many pilots enter summary totals from their paper logbook and then log new flights digitally.
Is my logbook data backed up?
With Student or Professional subscription, your logbook is automatically backed up to secure encrypted cloud servers. You can also export your logbook to PDF or CSV at any time for additional backup. Free tier stores data locally on your device only.
What happens if I lose my phone?
With cloud sync enabled (Student or Professional plan), simply install Pilot Kit on your new device and sign in to restore all your data. You can also export your logbook regularly to PDF or CSV for additional backup security.
